About the Job

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of posts of Law Researchers in the establishment of The High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital on a contractual basis.

Eligibility

Age and Nationality

· The candidate should not be above 30 years from the date of making the application for Law Researcher (LR). This requirement may, in appropriate cases, be relaxed by the Chief Justice upon the request of the Hon’ble Judge concerned.

· The candidate must be a citizen of India.

Educational Qualification

· The candidate should be a graduate of law from a duly recognized law school/college/university/institute established by law in India

· and eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India.

· Final year students pursuing three/five-year degrees in law will also be eligible to apply subject to furnishing proof of acquiring the law

· qualification at the time of the interview/before taking up the engagement as LR.

· The candidate must have a good working knowledge of computers.

Method of Selection

Selection shall be made based on the application form and personal Interview/Interaction. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for Interview/Interaction as per the “Scheme for Engagement of Law Researchers”

· The format of the application form can be viewed and downloaded from the Official Website of the High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital i.e. https://highcourtofuttarakhand.gov.in/

· Candidates may submit a scanned copy of the duly filled application form in the prescribed format along with a scanned copy of enclosures in a single “pdf file” (not exceeding 10 Mb) on the Email address of the High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital i.e. highcourt-ua@nic.in mentioning the subject “Application for Law Researcher” latest by 15.09.2024.

· Applicants are required to submit the duly filled application along with all requisite certificates through e-mail only and not to submit the duly filled application along with all requisite certificates by way of physical mode.
